In his blockbuster new book, American Marxism, Mark Levin warns that Marxist ideology has now permeated every
facet of American society, including the educational systems, the media, corporations,
Hollywood, and politics. He obviously touched on a deep, felt need for the book
shot to #1 on Amazon before it was ever released.
That America is deeply concerned was
confirmed in a recent NPR poll in which people were asked if they thought that
American democracy was “alive and well” or “under threat.” Sixty-seven percent of
the respondents said they believed American democracy to be “under threat.”
Marxism Requires
Atheism
This battle for the heart and soul of
America is spiritual in nature, which is why the answer does not lie with the
White House, but with God’s House. The greatest weapon against the Marxist agenda
is a genuine, national spiritual awakening
wherein the masses renew their faith in the God of the Bible. This would spell
the end of Marxism in America for Marxism cannot exist without atheism.
Karl Marx himself arrogantly declared, “The abolition of religion as the illusory
happiness of the people is the demand for their real happiness.” In other words, for Marx, abolishing
faith in God was a necessary component for securing “real” happiness through
his communist system.
In Marxism, the state is god and the
people are made wards of the state. They must look to the state for healthcare,
childcare, homecare, and their every need. Christians and their faith in God are
perceived as threats to such a Marxist, statist vision because their trust is
in the living God, not the state.
The god of Marxism is a
jealous god and will tolerate no rivals. This is why Marxist regimes, whether the
Old Soviet Union, or Mao’s China, or Castro’s Cuba, have all been hostile toward
people of a genuine, living faith.
Marxism and
Atheism in America
Over
the past 60 years, we have seen this same hostility arising toward people of
faith in America. The forced removal of crosses and Christian symbols from
public venues and the banning of prayer and Bible reading from public schools
are clear signs of this atheistic trend. The secularizing of Christmas with
nativity scenes being banned from public properties and Christmas trees being
called “holiday trees” are more clear indications that America is being groomed
for a socialist/atheistic society.
It is, therefore, not surprising that in 2019 the Democrat National Committee (DNC), the voice of the party of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Nancy Pelosi, unanimously passed a resolution in which they affirmed atheism and declared that neither Christianity nor any religion is necessary for morality and patriotism.
Since not a single Democrat leader has expressed opposition to this
party resolution, their individual expressions of faith must be interpreted as
mere window-dressing. It is another sign that America is being pushed toward an atheistic, Marxist society.
We Must Have a Christian Awakening
Yes, I believe Marxism will be
defeated, but not at the White House. Marxism will be defeated at God's house. What will turn the Marxist dream for America into a nightmare is a Christian awakening wherein America’s national
motto is renewed—a motto from earlier and more faithful times that simply reads,
“In God We Trust.”
When faith in God is awakened, people are set free
from dependence on government. Their faith is now in a higher Power. They want government,
not to nanny them, but to protect their God-given, Constitutional rights of
“life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”
Let us, therefore, ask God to renew our own personal
faith and then ask Him to visit this nation once again with another Great
Awakening. Such an Awakening will renew Christian faith, hope, and love and be Marxism’s worst nightmare.
