My husband and I have belonged to a bible study group for a number of years now and the hyperfocus on the "power" we get from the Holy Spirit through this type of prayer has caused many to leave our class. We ourselves have decided to do the same but not without first telling them why. We did some research on what thy are practicing and discovered it was just a new face put on spiritualism.
